Additional Info: Port Haverigg Holiday Village is on the southwestern coast of the lake district, onsite is a 200 acre private freshwater lake which offers a variety of water sports activities for all age groups with a waterfront bar restaurant also on site is a children’s play area and the beach is just a short distance away the nearest town is Millom which has a supermarket and a variety of shops, pubs, and clubs and is only 15-20 minute walk or 5 minutes by car.

The caravan is big enough for a family or group holiday and offers everything you could hope for: You will get a fully equipped caravan with kid’s high chair and cutlery, kettle, toaster, microwave, iron, hoover, fresh sheets, duvet, pillows, 4 seat dining table, central heating, and fireplace. Towels are not supplied; bring your own . The master room contains en-suite toilet and sink. The cosy living room is tastefully decorated and has a smart TV and a pull out sofa and there is wifi throughout.

 

You can relax and experience the calm countryside atmosphere, mountain walks, boat rides, and Lake District. Indulge in Cumbria’s history and enjoy modern outside activities.

 

You can wander down to the nearby park that has its own water sports center where you can pick any one of the following: Water Skiing, Wake Boarding, Wake Skating, Banana Boating & Kneeboarding. The Ski Bar offers a wide range or refreshments along with hot & cold snacks, which you can enjoy observing the Watersports activities. Come the evening, watch the sunset with a drink or enjoy the bar which offers family entertainment.

On-site you can dine in the fabulous Herdwicks coffee house, bistro, and pizzeria. Meals are cooked using the finest fresh produce and there is a spacious outside area to dine alfresco whilst looking over the Irish Sea, Duddon Estuary, and Lakeland Fells.

Take advantage of morning fresh walks around the Duddon Estuary. On your walk, you will observe two beautiful sandy beaches on either end of the estuary. Bring your binoculars and be sure to check out Hodbarrow’s birds and the RSPB Nature reserve and lighthouse. If you like fishing, why not try your luck on catching rainbow trout in the lake.
